as previously stated, 'shame' is the by-product
of the fear of being finite.
thus, your statement about art is correct...somewhat.

any behavior that instills a person's 'existence'
beyond their death is contributing to the fear.

humans are possessed with the idea that they serve
'purpose'. the goal of 'serving a purpose' is so
that they do not feel life (existence) is in vain.

therefore, shame = grasping (needlessly) at the infinite

in time, everything will end. everything that is
created will be destroyed...or transferred (in)to
another source.
the fight to remain infinite, at last, is still
in vain.

we will always remain finite.

shame is futile.
